‘Game of Thrones’: Everything That’s Been Set Up for the Finale
Clearly, HBO is really trying now to play up the hyper-secrecy angle when it comes to “Game of Thrones” and their final two episodes of the season. But now, this promo gives us our first exciting glimpse of the battle that awaits us.

The producers are promising that the episode will be the show’s biggest ever.
Maisie Williams speaking at the 2014 San Diego Comic Con International, for “Game of Thrones”, at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California. The Hound got revenge on the killers who murdered his fellow peaceful villagers from the episode prior. Not being able to use him to defend her from the judgement of the Septons is a major blow. But, that won’t be the case for this week as Game of Thrones season 6, episode 8 streaming will be online for the rest of the week. How else would you explain what they’ve got going on at present?
“I’ve fought beyond the wall against worse than Ramsay Bolton”, Snow says, with his sister Sansa firing back, “You don’t know him” – a reference to her marriage to the abusive, psychotic Bolton. Though characters seem to be traveling improbably quickly lately (how did Danaerys get back to Meereen so fast?), it’s still fairly unlikely that even if Arya does wind up back home at Winterfell that she’ll make it in time for the battle. Or maybe Jon will perish again, and Melisandre will have to shove his soul back into his husk once more.
After running through the streets of Braavos Arya finally took her chance and killed the Waif. He didn’t, at least not in this episode, but his teaching did result in an incredibly dope Arya moment.

There are a lot of reasons why anyone out there who’s not seen last night’s episode can’t wait to see it. Tommen, serving as the High Sparrow’s meat puppet, outlawed trials by combat, which means that CLEGANEBOWL is more than likely not going to happen. One strong theory posits that Arya actually passed her Jaqen H’ghar’s test by not assassinating Lady Crane, while the Waif’s desire for vengeance against Arya marks her own inevitable Faceless failure.
