Before Bruce Jenner went through a lifestyle transition to become Caitlyn Jenner, the Olympic Athlete brought the Olympic Torch into California for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

It will be the first Jenner-related memorabilia to go on sale since Jenner, formerly Bruce, revealed her female identity earlier this year.

Jenner won the gold medal in the decathlon in the 1976 Olympics.

Jenner had been approached by hotel Caesars Tahoe to carry the torch as a part of its agenda to give back to the community and support local youth programs.

Auction organizers say it was purchased by an anonymous collector from the West Coast.

It was among the highlights of a sports memorabilia auction held Thursday by Heritage Auctions in Chicago. It’s being sold by a Massachusetts woman whose great-great-uncle is among the players pictured on the card.

“It is one of many seminal playing cards from the start of the sport”, Ivy stated. “The fact that it’s got a direct link to a member of the team and has been in the same family for over 150 years is very interesting”. “It’s the infancy of baseball”, Shanus said.

“The Brooklyn Atlantics was the dynasty group of the 1860s”.
