On Twitter, Clinton Campaign Tells Trump: ‘Delete Your Account’

For months he’s worked against Hillary Clinton, but today, after a White House meeting with President Obama, Bernie Sanders now says he’ll work with her.

Sanders met with Obama and Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday after vowing to continue his campaign despite Hillary Clinton clinching the nomination, CNN reports.

Trump tweeted shortly after Clinton’s campaign released the president’s video endorsement.

The two are set to start campaigning together soon.

What is more, Elizabeth Warren, a fiery critic of Wall Street, is popular among Bernie Sanders’ supporters who Clinton needs to win over.

Sanders said at the White House that he wants to meet with Clinton. As the 2008 primaries ended, 25 percent of Democrats said they were either dissatisfied or angry with the nomination of Barack Obama, according to a Washington Post/ABC poll from June 2008.

“It is absolutely a joy and an honour that President Obama and I, over the years, have gone from fierce competitors to true friends”, she said.

In announcing her support for Clinton during an interview with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Thursday night, Warren said she’s “ready to get into this fight” to support Clinton and take on Donald Trump.

Warren said that despite media reports, she has not had any meetings with Clinton about possibly being her running mate. He has said he will remain in the race until Washington, D.C., voters cast their ballots Tuesday in the final primary contest.

Obama had been expected to support Clinton since she won enough delegates this week to clinch the Democratic nomination and become the first woman to lead a major USA party as its presidential nominee.

“I don’t think there’s ever been someone so qualified to hold this office”.

Although the declarations of Clinton’s presumptive victory were based on her delegate haul, Sanders is not technically eliminated from the race because he could theoretically sway the Democrats unbound “super” delegates to his side.

He added: “Crooked Hillary Clinton will be a disaster on jobs, the economy, trade, healthcare, the military, guns and just about all else”.
