Body of boy snatched by gator found in Disney lagoon
According to the Sentinel, no signs near the lagoon warn about potential gators, but they do instruct vacationers that swimming is prohibited.

The child has been identified as Lane Graves from Elk Horn, Nebraska.
The mother, father and their three children checked into the hotel on Sunday, Demings said.
CNN reports the body of Lane Graves was found at 1.45pm, not far from where the boy was grabbed on Tuesday night, according to Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings.
Disney closed all beaches in the resort area Wednesday as a precaution. “Our thoughts are with the family and we are helping the family and doing everything we can to assist them”, the spokesperson said.
The body of a two-year-old who was taken from a lagoon at Orlando’s Disney World has been recovered.
Witnesses reported the alligator to be between 6 and 7 feet in length; the largest alligator trapped in the aftermath of the attack was 7 ½ feet long, Demings said.
Wiley said it removes alligators from Disney regularly and that Disney has an active wildlife management program.
The search also included the gruesome task of killing and cutting open alligators as they searched for the boy.
Nick Wiley, executive director of the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), told CBS News that if a gator “attacks a human it’s mistaken”.
The boy’s father rushed into the water after the alligator struck and struggled to wrestle his child from the alligator’s grasp, Williamson said.
He was found just 10 to 15 yards from where he was attacked in about 6 feet of water, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said.
The child was snatched as he played at the water’s edge on Tuesday night, despite his parents’ effort to save him.
Demings added that there have been no other alligator attacks at the lake.
In 2015, more than 54 million visited one of Disney’s Florida parks in 2015, the Themed Entertainment Association says.

Fifty deputies and two marine units are continuing to search the waters, Sheriff Jerry Demings said at a news conference.
