“iOS 10 adds Siri intelligence into QuickType and Photos, automates your home with the new Home app and opens up Siri, Maps, Phone and Messages to developers – while increasing security and privacy with powerful technologies like Differential Privacy”.
Apple has previewed iOS 10, which the company is billing as be “the biggest release” ever of the mobile operating system.
The company also opened its once-maligned Maps app to developers, with the goal of enabling a range of easy-to-use features.

Apple’s Messages app is slated for a massive overhaul in iOS 10.
With iOS 10, Apple is finally letting us remove built-in apps from the Home screens of our iOS devices.
Apple also announced new updates for Apple TV, including expanded Siri capabilities so that users can search across more apps, tune into live channels and search YouTube for content.
Those were the themes behind Apple’s announcements here Monday at the company’s Worldwide Developers Conference when it comes to the next versions of Apple’s software for products such as the iPhone, the Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV. Here are four of the most significant new updates and features that were announced across the OSs.
Every iPhone comes with a handful of apps made by Apple that can not be removed from the home screen, regardless of whether or not you actually use them.
Siri is the most visible aspect of Apple’s artificial intelligence program, commonly known as AI. They also showed how users will be able to do more within each app.
Apple Inc is opening its popular Siri digital assistant to outside developers, which means iPhone users could soon be able to hail rides with Uber, publish photos on Shutterfly or make a call on Skype with voice commands.
As sales of iPhones and other smartphones slow, it’s especially important for Apple to keep its software and online services fresh, said Brian Blau, a tech analyst with the Gartner research firm.
Siri has also been given new capabilities to help you watch TV.
