Luis Perdomo turned in a quality start in Wednesday’s win over the Marlins, allowing three runs on six hits over six innings.

The San Diego Padres need a big home victory after losing five of their last six games. He was hit hard by Arizona in his last turn, when he gave up season highs in runs (five) and hits (12) while receiving a no-decision.
The Padres tied the game in the bottom of the first when Wil Meyers hit the first of three homers allowed by Chen, a 371-foot, opposite-field shot to right.
Matt Kemp, Upton and Rosales also homered for the Padres.
“I think Colin just kind of caught the middle of the zone a little too much”, Padres manager Andy Green said.
The Padres dropped the first two games of this home series against the Marlins, so today’s series finale will be about trying to avoid a sweep and salvage a win in the three-game set.
Bour, who had three hits, beat the shift with a RBI single to left, scoring Suzuki after he reached on an inning-opening walk and advanced to second on Prado’s single. Marlins: Stanton was out of the lineup, and while he’s not completely over his recent sore right side, Mattingly said it was more of a “rest” day for the struggling Stanton and he will start on Tuesday.
RHP Andrew Cashner’s neck strain has improved to the point where the Padres aren’t planning an MRI.
