Malia Obama Graduates From High School, Was ‘Total Dad’ Tearing?
President Barack Obama was in full dad-in-chief mode Friday, clearing his schedule to attend oldest daughter Malia’s high school graduation. Neither President Obama nor Michelle Obama have mentioned what Malia has planned for her year off. However, the family has said that they will remain in Washington, D.C., in order for younger daughter Sasha to complete her own high school education at Sidwell. President Barack Obama’s daughter Malia was just 10 and longing for a promised puppy when her family moved into the White House.

Obama declined to speak at the school’s commencement, blaming his emotions for the decision.
Malia was accepted to Harvard and will attend the prestigious university in 2017 after taking gap year.
Today is also Sasha Obama’s 15th birthday, so the First Family has a lot of reasons to celebrate today.
“I’ve got some sunglasses … one more example of the president crying”, Obama told Fallon, who asked earlier in the interview whether the president is feeling sentimental about his second term drawing to a end.
As a high school student, Malia spent a portion of the summer in 2014 and 2015 working in television studios in NY and Los Angeles.
“Malia, who will be graduating this week, is very eager to get out of there (the White House)”. Her mother said she wants to be a filmmaker after she graduates from college.
Three months into her new White House life, Malia got the long-awaited puppy: Bo, a Portuguese water dog that was less likely than other breeds to aggravate her allergies.
At school, Malia played soccer and tennis, the flute and piano. She’s one of my best friends. Both girls get themselves up early every day to get ready for school, the first lady has said. She was just 7 when her father was elected to his first term as president in 2008.

He had previously told a group in Detroit that he planned on wearing dark glasses to hide his proud-papa tears, and he gave Malia a standing ovation when she walked across the stage.
