After being alerted to the potential for choking, a company is recalling thousands of strollers from three different products.

In addition to the 71,000 products sold in the U.S., the CPSC says 8,000 were sold in Canada. Almost two dozen children have bitten off the foam covering on a bumper bar in the front of the seat. No injuries have been reported.
UPPAbaby is recalling the UPPAbaby 2015 CRUZ and 2015 VISTA strollers along with the 2015 RumbleSeat. “UPPAbaby has resolved and mitigated any potential risk, by reintroducing a warning label and bumper bar cover which zips over the bumper bar”. The products were sold at BuyBuy Baby and other retailers and through Amazon.com from December 2014 until this month.

Anyone impacted by the recall can contact UPPAbaby to receive a free bumper bar cover. The Cruz stroller retails at $500 and the Vista at $860, while RumbleSeat costs $170.
