Galaxy Note 7: Samsung Will Start Its Mass Production in July

The date, August 2, is significant because that is the day that Samsung is rumored to officially launch the new phablet. The device is said to come out with a whopping 5.8-inch screen, which has Quad HD resolution and a Super AMOLED display technology Samsung is known for.

You can check to see if the update is available for your Samsung Galaxy Note 5 or Galaxy S6 Edge from the setting menu on your device. According to a leaked image, Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 7 or the Note 7 Edge on the 2nd of August.

Many Android fans are hoping that Samsung will provide solid details with regard to the Galaxy Note 7 as they gear up for its upcoming release. The handset is also expected be water resistant.

First off, it can not keep up with keeping apps within its memory, which is quite embarrassing as a OnePlus 3 features 2GB RAM more than a Galaxy S7. Samsung has done this with the Galaxy Note Edge before, and it looks like the edges are coming back, and front. 6GB of RAM isn’t really new in the smartphone industry, but Samsung’s RAM is manufactured using a 10nm process.

The Galaxy Note 7 launch date is speculated as Aug. 2 and it is expected to be available for purchase in mid-August.

Update – April 13, 2016 – New rumors have surfaced regarding the Galaxy Note 6 that suggest that the device might get a more powerful processor, instead of the Snapdragon 820.

Notably, the recent ET News report also mentioned that an event taking place in NY on August 2 will feature the unveiling of the new phablet. In addition, the new Galaxy Note may also feature IP6X proofing, an iris scanner, and USB Type-C connectivity.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 release date is current under the wraps.
