The police report said Morgan, nicknamed “Chilli Bean”, was removed from the bar for sitting on the stage.

David Morgan was brought in after a shots fired incident early this morning in Clowney’s hometown of Rock Hill.

Rock Hill police have not officially confirmed that Morgan is Clowney’s father.

According to the report, the employee told police he later saw Morgan near a wall in the back of the property. The victim returned fire from his Kel Tech PF-9 a 9mm semi automatic handgun.

Morgan was apprehended at Piedmont Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his shoulder.

Two guns were reportedly recovered from the scene.

Clowney, who battled injuries much of his rookie season in Houston, is now on the physically unable to perform list after season-ending surgery a year ago.

Unfortunately, according to the Herald, this is far from Morgan’s first run in with the law, his most significant incident being a nearly-twelve year prison stay for burglary (he was released in 2006).

Morgan is no stranger to a jail cell, as he spent several years in prison while Clowney was rising through the football ranks as a teen in South Carolina.
