Ashlee has kept her bump largely under wraps recently, and is yet to reveal their baby’s name. This is Ross’s first child and Simpson’s second – she is already the mother to 6-year-old Bronx Mowgli, who she had with rocker Pete Wentz. This is the third grandchild for Evan’s superstar mom, Diana Ross.
In January 2014, Ross and Simpson stunned fans when they announced their engagement following a whirlwind romance.
As previously reported, the couple opted for a unique name for their baby girl.
“I told him [about my pregnancy] pretty early on”, Simpson said.
Both Simpson, 30, and Ross, 26, shared the same caption, tagging each other and writing, “I love you #JaggerSnowRoss we love you”.
On Friday (31 July), reports suggested that the couple had welcomed a child together and now singer Evan has told the world the good news is true.

She also got together with her friends and family last month for her baby shower, with her sister Jessica Simpson on hand for the “beautiful and relaxed” evening. In March, Ashlee opened up about her son becoming a big brother.
