The vitriol stretched the First Amendment right of everyone in this country to freedom of speech and expression which at times has had to bite its lip over unpopular speech to preserve that right.
The numbers help put into perspective the debate among politicians about whether the Orlando massacre was a hate crime or an act of terrorism.
Today the LGBT community and the rest of America experienced a horrific tragedy; 50 people were killed and more than 50 others injured in a mass shooting in Orlando.
“I don’t know what he was doing and I wish he did knew”.
“There will be more people, it is more likely people will come out to show solidarity, to show they are not scared and we would encourage that”. He lost a friend on the night of the shooting at Pulse.

For him, he thought he was saying something supportive for our community, but denying you know that we are part of this human being that is actually equal to him was very hard on us. My heart hurts for all of the victims.
In the wake of the Orlando shooting, people across the state and around the world are standing in support of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
In the aftermath of Sunday’s mass shooting in Orlando, there has been a lot of discussion on the continued presence of homophobia in our society.
“I am devastated by the horrific shooting at Pulse and firmly believe we should take our example from the fearless parishioners in Charleston, who even in the immediate aftermath of that horrific shooting responded with love and dignity”, said Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney (D-NY).
Investigators in the USA are probing terror links and whether the gunman, 29-year-old Omar Mateen, was homophobic. I have danced in so many gay bars all over this country at 2 a.m. “This man, aside from pledging allegiance to ISIS, pledged allegiance to an organization that is at war with ISIS which is Hezbollah”.
Homophobia is rife among religious extremist groups, Faderman said.
For a group that works to foster interfaith dialogue, Patel said he’s aware of the efforts to radicalize Americans and inspire these kinds of terror attacks.
It can be hard, but it’s when we talk to people who are different from us that we learn and grow and reach our highest potential.
But the worst mass shooting in the U.S. – often considered as China’s adversary in world affairs and global diplomacy – touched a chord among many in this country.

“That blows my mind”, he said in a rant about YouTube scrubbing his anti-gay rant. “There is a fear that some of these families will not accept their children or bury their children due to their sexual orientation”.
