Jamie Vardy set to stay at Leicester City – Vice-chairman
Arsene Wenger just can not seem to add to his transfer acquisitions as long time target Jamie Vardy looks set to sensationally snub the north London club in favour of Premier League champions Leicester City.

The 29-year-old’s phenomenal form has seen him linked with Arsenal, who have reportedly made a £20 million bid.
Vardy gave an interview following that incredible English win, and was asked whether it had been hard to focus on his football while his club future was uncertain.
“I’m here completely focusing on England and that’s all I want to focus on at the moment”.
England coach Roy Hodgson has to decide whether to keep playing Harry Kane or start with Vardy and/or Daniel Sturridge against Slovakia.
Arsenal once again fell short after leading the way around New Year and despite recovering to finish second in the league, they were a fair way off of the eventual champions Leicester City.
Vardy claimed that he would not be annoyed if he was returned to the bench for England’s next group match against Slovakia in Saint Etienne on Monday.
The north Londoners will then travel to champions Leicester the following weekend, before finishing the first month of the season with a derby at Watford.
A fee had been agreed, after his release clause was triggered, and we were all just waiting for the Leicester City star to sign his career away.
“They need a central defender, they’ve signed a midfielder, sign Vardy and we’re looking good”.
Leicester striker Jamie Vardy is the subject of interest from Arsenal. I think, so let’s see.
The vice-chairman also revealed he enjoys a close relationship with the club’s manager, Claudio Ranieri. We talk a lot. “We are like family”, he said of the charismatic Italian.

“We’re here to represent England and that’s all I want to think about”. Now the season is finished and we have to move on’.
