APPLE HAS RELEASED AN UPDATE to the TestFlight tool that enables developers to start testing apps on iOS 10, watchOS 3 and the newest version of tvOS.
Apple has released the beta version of iOS 10 to developers, along with the latest version of its operating system for Mac computers macOS 10.12 Sierra.
The new operating system won’t be compatible with older iPhones or older iPads. In addition, notifications will also support intent-based actions in tandem with the new SiriKit API. Notifications has some changes too, including rich links, meaning you will be able to view photos and videos in Notifications on your Lock Screen. Soon after the announcement iOS 10 has got the world’s attention of how this version is different from the previous one. No more hiding apps away in a folder like you are ashamed of them.
Other interesting tidbits from the conversation, which also included Apple SVP of Marketing Phil Schiller, include an explanation of some of the choices behind Siri’s integration with Uber and messaging. But tweaks to the software could still happen up until its official release this fall.
There are also a number of new stock apps, such as Breathe, a way to help users perform meditation-style breathing.
It’s common practice for both mobile OS developers and mobile device manufacturers to preinstall apps on the devices they ship. This may not be the most in-depth look into the new feature, but it gets straight to the point and showing you how it works.
