Bobby Brown is thanking God for his life after overcoming drug addiction that led to the death of his singer ex-wife Whitney Houston and their daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. Brown sits down with ABC News Robin Roberts for an exclusive interview discussing at length the truth about his journey. which will air as a special edition of 20/20 on TUESDAY, JUNE 7 (10-11pm, ET) on the ABC Television Network.

In his new book, Brown writes he found his bride “hunched over a bureau snorting a line of coke”. “The same thing that happened to my daughter is what happened to Whitney”, Brown said.
In the emotional interview, Brown broke down in tears talking about his late daughter, and the role he played in her troubled life.
Bobby also recently opened up about doing drugs with Whitney on their wedding night and whether he was ever abusive towards her. She did drugs but drugs didn’t do her.
She added: “He waited to speak about her when she could no longer speak for herself”. It only made me, you know, love and want to protect her more.
They had a volatile romance, and during that period, Brown said that he and the pop star had devolved into a pattern of drug abuse. “We all have our own minds and some are stronger than others”. “There’s only one person that was around both occasions”. She never regained consciousness and after months in a coma died on July 26, 2015.
But he says he made it a point to never let her see them in such awful conditions.
But some, including Brown, continue to blame Kristina’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, for playing a role in the passing of both his daughter and ex-wife. And I don’t know if it was more than that’.
Rumours about the superstar’s sexuality circulated for several years prior to Whitney’s death in 2012, with gossips suggesting she was bisexual and involved in a very private relationship with Robyn, who was also her assistant.

Nearly a year to the date of Bobbi Kristina’s death, Brown is speaking out to take some of the blame for his daughter’s untimely death. In the suit, Gordon was accused of beating Bobbi Kristina, giving her a “toxic cocktail”, and putting her face-down in a bathtub, WXIAreported.
