“I was really excited to do this role”, North told Game Informer.

A pretty dramatic turnaround in talent but when your game costs half a billion dollars to make, you might want to smooth out some of the rough edges. “There’s a fine line to walk there, and I think we found it”. Bungie has re-cast Dinklage role as “Ghost” in the hit first-person shooter, bringing in renowned voice actor Nolan North to replace him. As Smith explained, “The conflation of gear and character level led to this place where your identity was determined by things outside of your control. We don’t want to do that”, Smith said. You won’t be able to ascend your weapons anymore, which means that crowd favorites like the Vex Mythoclast and the Fang of Ir Yut will be inevitably replaced by new, more powerful guns in the expansion.
