Grimmie’s Killer Could Be Fan Who Targeted the Singer for Death
The man who shot and killed American singer Christina Grimmie, who had been a contestant on the popular USA television show “The Voice”, traveled to Orlando from another Florida city and was armed with two loaded handguns and a hunting knife, the Orlando Police Department said.

“We don’t know what the motive is right now”.
It was an obsessive fan who killed Abbott in 2004.
Grimmie, from New Jersey finished third during season six of NBC’s The Voice in 2014, competing on the team of Maroon 5 star Adam Levine.
Police have identified Grimmie’s alleged killer as 27-year-old Kevin James Loibl.
Grimmie’s last Facebook post a few hours before she was fatally shot showed a smiling upbeat young woman asking people to attend her concert.
Marcus immediately tackled Loibl who then shot and killed himself during the struggle. “We lost a handsome soul with an incredible voice”.
Selena’s stepfather Brian Teefey was Christina’s manager, and set up a GoFundMe page for her family which has already raised nearly $77,000.
“Hey guys, what’s up?” she said into the camera.
“Everyone is just running all over the place”, said the teenager, who travelled to the concert from Brunswick, Georgia. No one answered the door to the one-story house that had a rusted, metal animal trap in the yard. Around 120 others were present at the time.
USA Today has since reported that Orlando’s Plaza Live Theater, where the shooting happened, has suspended all events until further notice. “We appreciate everyone’s understanding and support during this traumatic time”, said a statement on its website.
It is with a heavy heart that we can confirm that Christina has passed and went home to be with the Lord.

Authorities explained that “the suspect traveled to Orlando apparently to commit this crime, and then had plans to travel back to where he came from”.
