High stakes for Warriors, Cavaliers in Game 7 of NBA Finals

After a while, you kind of stand and calm down.

At the other end, the Cavaliers have exploited the Warriors’ lack of size, which was exacerbated by the series-ending injury to center Andrew Bogut in Game 5. “So I need to take it up another notch for Game 7”. With his primary defender Andre Iguodala banged up and forced to miss Warriors practice on Saturday, James could be in for another dominating performance as the Cavs seek to become the first team in National Basketball Association history to overcome a three games to one deficit and win a championship. Draymond Green was suspended for an accumulation of reckless plays, Curry was fined for throwing his mouthpiece at courtside fans and his wife took to Twitter to question the league’s integrity.

He cracked, “I might have to cut the Wi-Fi off at my house, though”. The Warriors are challenged to not only win a second consecutive NBA title, they are suddenly more pressed not to become the first team in NBA Finals history to blow a series after taking a 3-1 lead.

Of course, coach Steve Kerr spent many minutes before Curry’s presser trying to level off the pressure on his star and wipe away the thought that Game 7 was on Curry’s shoulders.

Now let’s take a couple things into consideration here.

If James can finish this performance with an exclamation point, he’s still trailing Michael Jordan – but it won’t be by much.

“We’re in a position to play free and play hard”. Only instead of us thinking it because strangers lost a game on which we bet 10 bucks, it’s her husband involved in the situation.

The city of Cleveland has not had a professional team sports title since the NFL Browns in 1964, and James left the Miami Heat to return to his home state two years ago on a mission to deliver a championship.

Smith made the comparison, and then said that the media’s reactions would be much harsher if James’ wife had made similar comments.

Curry has been surrounded by adversity since the end of Game 6.

“I came back for a reason, and that is to bring a championship to the city of Cleveland, to northeast OH and all of OH and all Cavaliers fans in the world”.

“I start to learn from my mistakes and break into the film and seeing the ways that they’re defending me, the ways they’re defending our team, ways I can be a little more efficient”, James said.

“I need to play my best game of the year if not my career because of what the stakes are”, Curry said without hinting that the task seemed too tall. Harrison Barnes literally can’t hit a shot.

LeBron James is the greatest player of all time. He is shooting 37.5 percent from three-point range and 41.9 percent overall, down from 45.5 and 50.4 during the regular season.

Curry knows that must change Sunday if the Warriors are going to repeat as champions.

“Four out of the six games, I’ve played pretty well to my expectations, my standards”, Curry said. “So that doesn’t mean scoring 50 points, though”. “[It] means controlling the tempo of the game. But when I need to push the envelope, do it, but do it under control”.
