Hillary Clinton huddles with top fundraisers
“In my view, God willing, it’ll be Secretary Clinton”, Biden said, referring to the next president, during an address at the American Constitution Society convention in Washington.

Jeff Merkley is “supporting” Hillary Clinton for president but stopped short of saying he endorses the presumptive Democratic nominee.
But Warren’s backing may be more politically important for Clinton than Obama’s blessing. Elizabeth Warren is expected to endorse Clinton, according to a source close to the MA senator.
Obama, who enjoys rising approval ratings as he nears the end of eight years in office, will appear with Clinton on the campaign trail next week in Wisconsin.
In that primary race, Obama bested Clinton and eventually became the first black president. “I have seen her judgement”, Obama said in an email and a web video circulated by the Clinton campaign. “He wants four more years of Obama-but nobody else does”, Trump previously tweeted.
Clinton, who also has attacked Trump’s comments, clinched the Democratic nomination earlier this week, according to The Associated Press.
Obama was not only the high-value person that has given an endorsement to Clinton. Bernie Sanders left the White House after a private meeting with Obama in the Oval Office.
Although Sanders told reporters afterward that he still planned to compete in the final nominating contest in Washington, DC, next Tuesday, he said he would work with Clinton to defeat Trump. Briggs said they would fight on right up to the Democratic convention in Philadelphia in July.
And even Sanders himself is still clearly working through the reality that a populist campaign that has always represented an implied rebuke of Clinton herself is drawing to a close. And I think the facts really speak for themselves.
Following Obama’s endorsement, the real estate mogul tweeted: “Obama just endorsed Crooked Hillary”.
Warren has clashed with Trump in the past, with the likely GOP nominee repeatedly referring to her as “Pocahontas” due to a controversy over her claimed Native American heritage.
“I think having a fighter in the lead, a female fighter in the lead, is exactly what this country needs”, Warren said on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show”.
Clinton turned over some 30,000 emails to State Department officials after she stepped down from the job in 2013.
Warren has been floated as a possible vice presidential pick for Clinton, a choice that could help allay some concerns among progressives about the former secretary of state’s nomination.
Trump said in an interview with Reuters last month that he would try to dismantle the Dodd-Frank law.

Meanwhile, President Obama spoke to media after his meeting with Senator Sanders and formally threw his support behind Clinton. “I have seen her judgment”.
