Tottenham holding talks with Southampton powerhouse Wanyama
Tottenham will reportedly hold talks this week to finalise an £11million transfer deal for Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama.

Sky Sports News believe Wanyama could complete his medical later today.
Williamson, added: “This is a move to a bigger club and the lad has earned it”.
The 24-year-old has one year left on his contract at Southampton but has expressed his interest to re-join former manager Mauricio Pochettino at White Hart Lane. He is a mature player who has got what it takes to flourish.
Spurs are keen to sign a battling midfielder ahead of their Champions League campaign, with Wanyama already possessing experience in Europe’s elite competition from his time at Celtic. He’s strong in the air, forceful in the tackle and outstanding at scuppering opposition attacks.
There are still areas of his game that need to be refined, though.

It should also be noted that the Southampton man began his career as a centre-back before moving into midfield, so Mauricio Pochettino would have welcome flexibility in how he reacts to an Alderweireld absence. Last term his pass completion rate was 82.4 per cent, but Wanyama does have a penchant for giving the ball away in risky areas and taking too long to make a decision.
