Washington Democrats end convention with last delegate picks
“We recognize everything that Bernie Sanders has done, finding the demographics that he did, and I respect that”. Heidi Heitkamp has endorsed Clinton, national committeeman Chad Nodland is supporting Sanders and the other three are uncommitted. Most of the state’s superdelegates, including Gov. Jay Inslee and the state’s Democratic members of Congress, have indicated they’ll support Clinton in July.

The convention started Friday, with delegate meetings ranging from workshops on grassroots organizing to meetings on resolutions related to the platform. Most of the Republican delegates chosen at Washington’s convention were supporters of Texas Sen.
