E3 2016: Resident Evil 7’s Short, Sweet & Satisfying Reveal
“No, I’m not directly involved [in the Resident Evil 2 remake]”, Kamiya told Polygon in an interview at E3 last week.

Resident Evil 7 is due out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC in January 2017.
Some scenes in Resident Evil 7 will be so scary that you’ll no doubt jump out of your chair: the atmosphere is so realistic and well-designed that you’ll be stuck between wanting to explore more and being too frightened to do so.
In other news, several rumors are making rounds that “Resident Evil 7” will feature a demo of “Resident Evil 2” remake. Yes, Capcom demoed the game previous year and no one knew what it was.
Resident Evil 7 VR has been under development for over 2 years. Whether number seven will shake as much as the same foundation as number four did, remains unanswered. The game’s supposedly-titled RE engine really leaves its mark as far as rendering capabilities go, especially when taking a moment to stop and survey the surrounding furniture when not peaking around corners or questioning why that mannequin is now standing directly behind you.
It feels as though we’re on the cusp of a VR revolution, and having scoured the halls at the E3 gaming expo and played as many demos as possible, these are our favourite PS VR titles from the show floor, with running commentary about what we made of each experience. That’s right: no bad stomachs coming out of this [admittedly brief] VR offering. You’re going to remake that, right?’ And he’d say, ‘No, we’re busy with other games’. The new game looks to be a dramatic departure from the norm for the franchise, eschewing its traditional third person point of view for a first person setup that seems to be a lot like P.T.

The new entry of the series, however, isn’t the only new entry of the series Capcom has in the works for the Resident Evil 20th Anniversary, according to the game’s producer.
