Because Demi Lovato – notorious queen of DGAF social media missives – announced that she is quitting both Twitter and Instagram due to the controversy that follows her on the social media platforms.

Across a series of tweets on Twitter last night, Demi had a proper rant, in which she wrote “Damn I gotta quit sayin sh*t”.
One tweet later: “And insta”.
‘And people wonder what’s wrong with the world. Demi will continue to stay active on Snapchat, so make sure to catch her on there!
It’s such a shame that Demi feels she can’t be on social media due to trolls. “Pay more attention to good than bad”, Demi concluded.
Actually, the recently separated performer (as Us Weekly reported, she and Wilmer Valderrama called their romance quits on June 3) did then go on to write a couple more tweets – but the message fans got was pretty clear.
With her Future Now tour coming up with Nick Jonas, at least you can catch Demi on stage. The woman is mean for no reason. Jen keeps it classy but I’m not afraid to say shit. Extremely talented? Yes. Superhuman?
“I don’t know her, what am I supposed to say?”, she explained.
