Microsoft’s Sharepoint app for iOS is here

SharePoint mobile is meant to give users fast access on their mobile devices to their SharePoint team sites, organization portals and resources and even to what others are working on, thanks to integration with Microsoft Graph and Office Graph. It’s possible to use the mobile apps with multiple accounts, he said.
The People tab, as its name implies, lets users look up their coworkers, view their profiles, see what they’ve been working on and who they’ve been working with. The app has a responsive design to fit various screen sizes, providing user access to Sites, Links, People and Search SharePoint functions. He noted the company is investing in responsive design by default for services including Office 365, Delve, and Office 365 Video.
Sites. Here, you access the sites you visit frequently and sites you’re following.
SharePoint also links to other Office apps. The current version of the app isn’t as full featured as the desktop client version, and instead implements the most popular features of Microsoft’s suite of tools.
Microsoft has been investing in evolving its intranet since the company released a post called “The Future of SharePoint” in May. At the time it detailed its vision, Microsoft shared plans to create a mobile app driven by Office Graph intelligence.
Search. This option obviously lets you search SharePoint, and it can do so while filtering by sites, files and people. But, it’s an important step for Microsoft to compete with a host of other enterprise collaboration companies, including Google, which recently announced a pair of services that compete with SharePoint. The app would improve access to personal and company-wide sites, portals, and contacts.
