Content-aware crop works exactly like you’d expect, you can crop or rotate an image, and Photoshop will fill in any gaps on the canvas.

The company’s “Marketing Cloud” revenue was up 18%, at $385 million. Adobe’s CreativeSync allows users to work up to 10x faster with shared libraries, and other features. The release includes dramatic new features in Adobe’s flagship applications, performance enhancements across Creative Cloud (CC), and exciting updates to Adobe Stock – including deeper integration within CC and the addition of an all-new Premium collection of high quality stock content.

Photoshop also received some love in this update.

New search and organize fonts feature, including an option to view fonts by family. These include Content-Aware Crop, Face Aware Liquify, Match Font, and a Select and Mask workspace for easier image masking. “We believe that these updates, which offer collaboration features critical for keeping visual elements consistent and target numerous pain points that users around the world face every day, will enhance efficiency and creativity altogether”. The original image is on the left, and in the cropped image on the right you can see the fill – especially in the upper right hand corner with the buildings and the lower left corner with the road.

Face Aware Liquify is one of my favourite new features. The new Face-Aware Liquify feature considers dimensions for eyes, nose, mouth, and face shape when applying the Liquify Tool.

To the extreme. As I mentioned… it’s a fun tool!

Match font, a new feature that uses machine learning to detect which font is on a preexisting image. This feature also brings up said font if it’s already installed or goes and finds it in TypeKit if you don’t already have it.

Matching fonts in Photoshop helps take out the guesswork.

Other new features across the Creative Cloud include character animator preview in After Effects, new virtual reality features in Premiere Pro, fast exporting of assets and artboards in Illustrator and the offering of Adobe Experience Design Preview in German, French and Japanese.

Taking aim at inefficiencies that slow down the creation process, Adobe today launched major updates to its flagship Creative Cloud tools and services. The company says these roughly 100,000 images “meet the standards of top advertising agencies, leading brands and digital and print publications”. Also coming soon is Adobe’s new Stock Contributor Portal, which will feature intelligent auto-tagging capabilities saving hours of keywording. That update, which is “coming soon”, will enable artists and designers to more easily promote and distribute their work through Adobe Stock.
