SHC chief justice’s son Owais Ali goes missing

He said the family of the Chief Justice informed that his son has gone missing in the evening.
Masked men kidnapped the son of a senior Pakistani judge in the southern port city of Karachi, police said, suspecting the victim could be used as a bargaining chip in negotiations to free imprisoned fighters from banned groups.
Former president and leader of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari has expressed concern over the kidnapping of Sindh High Court Chief Justice Syed Sajjad Ali Shah’s son Barrister Awais Ali Shah, and called for exposing and punishing “the planners, perpetrators and executioners of this heinous crime as well as their backers”. “His mobile phone is switched off”. Police believe the lawyer might have been kidnapped but they have failed to find any clue. The auto used by the kidnappers with a fake police number plate (SP-0586) has yet to be traced.
The abduction came just weeks after the sons of two high-profile politicians returned home after spending years in captivity of militant outfits.
Street crime remains one of the biggest problems here despite the paramilitary rangers and police carrying out a clean-up operation in Karachi since September 2013.
Shahbaz Taseer, the son of former slain Punjab governor, Salman Taseer was recovered in March from the Baluchistan province after spending five years in captivity.

The chief minister has ordered to set up check points across the city to keep all movement at check.
