Voters trust Trump over Clinton on economy
According to CNBC, Hillary Clinton declared on Tuesday that if Donald Trump is elected president, his policies will nearly certainly cause a recession.

Donald Trump’s decision to fire his embattled campaign manager less than a month before the Republican convention sent a powerful signal to tired GOP leaders that the billionaire businessman recognizes the increasingly dire state of his presidential campaign.
A spokeswoman for Trump’s campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment on exactly what Trump meant.
He has promised to revive a golden era for industrial labourers, and remove the chains of indigence from the working poor.
He predicted Clinton would spend more than $1 billion on her campaign. Clinton, by contrast, raised more than $25 million in May.
“Just as he shouldn’t have his finger on a button”, Clinton said, “he shouldn’t have his hands on the economy”.
Put your money where your mouth is, Donald Trump.
“He’s written a lot of books about business. They all seem to end at Chapter 11; go figure”, Clinton said, in a jab referring to Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
Trump would wipe out post-crash rules on banks, give sweeping tax cuts that could widen deficits, cancel trade deals and deport immigrants in the USA without documentation, leading to uncertainty and economic disaster, Clinton said.
Trump – who has alienated many traditional Republican big donors and had to lend his own campaign $2 million last month – is reported to have aired no ads since he clinched the Republican nomination last month.
“I’m having more difficulty frankly with some of the people in the party than I am with the Democrats, because they’re just, they don’t want to come on”, Trump said.
Fundraising was one of the reasons cited for Monday’s dismissal of campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.
The speech was similar to one earlier this month in San Diego in which Clinton tried to undercut the Republican candidate’s foreign policy credentials.
They say that activity will be reflected in the campaign’s next federal fundraising report. What’s more, fundraising reports show he’s used about $6 million in campaign money to pay his own companies and family members.
The latest poll numbers show Donald Trump losing support to Hillary Clinton in critical battleground states as the two rivals are turning out a full arsenal of attacks.
The lone demonstrator outside the Clinton event Tuesday held a sign that said: “Republicans against Trump”. He says Clinton took the gloves off in her 45 minute speech at the Ft. “That could cause an economic catastrophe”, she said. “But I don’t talk about other people’s faith”. “What I am far and away greater than an entertainer is a businessman, and that’s the kind of mindset this country needs to bring it back, because we owe $19 trillion right now … and you need this kind of thinking to bring our country back”, he said at a Republican primary debate previous year.
Aides hope Lewandowski’s departure will bring an end to the infighting that has plagued the campaign since Trump hired strategist Paul Manafort in March to help secure delegates ahead of the convention.
