Leicester to offer £30m to clinch Deeney deal
Deeney has expressed a desire to speak to Leicester and Watford will discuss their next move on Tuesday, after rejecting a £25million proposal over the weekend.

The Foxes’ most recent bid of around £24million was rejected but a fresh offer is expected in the next couple of days.
Watford have told Leicester City that Troy Deeney will not be sold for any less than £30m, according to reports.
Deeney has proven himself capable of playing at the top end of the Premier League, having netted 20 plus goals in three successive seasons before firing 13 league goals for Watford last season.
Should their pursuit of Deeney fail, Leicester are also interested in Sporting’s Islam Slimani, who is one of the highest rated strikers in the Portuguese League having scored 31 goals in 44 appearances last season.
Leicester have held a long-time interest in Deeney, who turns 28 next week, and he is not a replacement for Jamie Vardy should the England striker join Arsenal.

The Gunners activated his £20 million release clause but Vardy, on global duty with England at Euro 2016, has stated he will not make a decision until after the tournament – although Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admitted at the weekend he expects him to stay.
