Dark Souls 3 was previously announced at E3 2015, but now we are seeing our first big glimpses of gameplay from the upcoming From Software game.

Aside from today’s trailer reveal, it’s understood that From Software will be bringing a playable of Dark Souls III when Gamescom kicks off for the public on Thursday, August 6. Players will travel across a wide variety of locations in an interconnected world of unrelenting challenge and deep RPG gameplay as they search for a way to survive the coming apocalypse.

While the first part of the video shows different parts of Dark Souls 3, the actual gameplay begins at 1:14 and offers looks at the combat, enemies, and more. It makes me wonder if this will round out a Dark Souls trilogy. Each weapon will have its own unique Battle Arts.
