Bayern Leverkusen midfielder Charles Aranguiz gave them the lead in the 7th minute, before Fuenzalida doubled up the lead in the 11th minute.

Chile will face Argentina in the finals to be held in New jersey on Sunday.

Argentina defeated Chile 2-1 in Group D play earlier in Copa America Centenario, but Chile defeated their South American rivals to the east on penalty kicks past year to win their first Copa America title.

The team beat Colombia 2-0, in the semi finals held on Wednesday night. “The last two, I couldn’t, let’s hope this is the definitive one”, said Di Maria, who scored Argentina’s first goal of the tournament in a 2-1 group stage win over Chile. Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado’s attempted clearance went awry, allowing Aranguiz to place the ball ino the net from close range.

Colombia striker Roger Martinez forced a smart save from Chile goalkeeper Claudio Bravo in the 24th minute and nine minutes later the Barcelona stopper was pressed into action again when Arias advanced into the area and shot.

Colombia will play the United States on Saturday in Glendale, Ariz., in the third-place match. La Roja had not beaten Colombia in more than five years, but two quick goals early in the first half doomed Los Cafeteros despite a long weather delay at halftime.
