Taylor Lautner Joins Scream Queens Season 2 as Series Regular

Taylor Lautner has joined the cast of “Scream Queens”. Lautner’s Dr. Cascade “suffers from a odd medical condition” and will become a suspect when tragic events occur at the hospital that serves as the center of the new season.

“Big news everyone!” Lautner shared on Instagram on Thursday morning.

The news of comes just a week after it was announced that Fuller House star John Stamos will also be joining the second season of Fox’s slasher soap. Lautner will play one of the series’ new male leads, Dr. Cassidy Cascade, a doctor at the hospital who suffers from a odd medical condition and becomes a suspect when a series of tragic events plagues the institution. The Chanels – Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin, and Billie Lourd – are now hospital employees as well as Hester (Lea Michele) and Zayday (Keke Palmer).

Season two of the show moves the action from a university campus to a hospital, where fascinating and freaky medical cases are under observation. Season two debuts on September 20 at 9 PM ET. “I think it’s going to be very dark”, Curtis said of the new season to E! “It’s in a hospital, [there’s] a lot of darkness in hospitals-dark hallways, scary rooms, sharp objects, a lot of blood, disinfectants”.
