Johnson plans to testify on Wednesday in front of the Senate Health and Human Services Committee to discuss her firsthand experience with Planned Parenthood and fetal tissue donations.

The new energy in protests against Planned Parenthood comes from a series of videos released by the Center for Medical Progress. The organization has come under fire after recently released videos appear to show it has been selling the tissue of aborted fetuses to the highest bidder. They show planned parenthood directors discussing procedures for obtaining fetal tissue for research. In the parking lot next to him, more than one hundred anti-abortion supporters rallied to defund Planned Parenthood.
Pro-life groups rallied outside Birmingham’s Planned Parenthood on Tuesday, calling for an investigation and federal de-funding. He affirmed his stand on the videos exposing the organization as an “enterprise-wide operation that traffics and sells baby parts“. “They’ve partnered with Planned Parenthood and they get part of the money because we pay them to use their facilities”. “I was born the year of Roe v. Conservatives and abortion foes have slammed the organization over the clips, and Planned Parenthood’s president, Cecile Richards, has apologized for the tone used in the videos.
But Indiana Right to Life lobbyist Sue Swayze says Planned Parenthood can’t hide behind what she calls the lie that the group is about helping women.
“We’ve seen these types of political attacks before”, she said, “but we’ll continue fighting because this is a very important issue that women have full access to a full range of reproductive health care”.
More than 50 cities are listed as being locations for rallies, including Baltimore, Los Angeles, and Seattle.

“We were all fetuses and embryos”, said Mechanic, wearing a shirt with a picture of an ultrasound and a quote from Proverbs 24:11: “Rescue those being taken away to death”.
