In Context: Did Donald Trump suggest Barack Obama has terrorist sympathies?
IN the wake of the shooting at an Orlando gay nightclub on Sunday, June 12 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump promised to thwart terrorism on US soil by doubling down on immigration reform.

When asked to clarify if he would use the term “radical Islam” when describing terrorists like the Orlando nightclub shooter, Manchin said, “I’d do it in a heartbeat”.
Trump repeated his call for a temporary ban on the entry of Muslims into the United States after a US -born Muslim, the son of Afghan immigrants, fatally shot 49 people at a gay nightclub in Orlando early on Sunday.
“He (Obama) was more angry at me than he was at the shooter, and many people said that”.
Trump also rattled off attacks on Hillary Clinton, the presumed Democratic nominee, who delivered similarly scathing attacks on Trump’s response to the shooting earlier in the day – accusing Clinton of accepting money from countries that treat women and gays “horrendously”.
Hillary Clinton, speaking at a campaign rally in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, called out Trump’s suggestion that President Obama is siding with terrorists. “We need leadership and concrete plans because we are facing a brutal enemy”.
While Trump’s hard stance on immigration has gained him some popularity with more conservative voters, it has caused some disruption within the Republican party. “It’s just more evidence that he is temperamentally unfit and totally unqualified to be commander-in-chief”, Clinton said, noting that building trust in Muslim-American communities was key to countering the self-radicalization of men like Mateen.
“If we don’t solve [radical Islamic terrorism], it’s going to eat our country alive”, Trump said.
Trump said the ban would be temporary, but it must be done. “But I’ve accepted what we have”, Manchin said. But if other Republicans who have raised this non-issue are honest with themselves, they will distance themselves from Trump’s nonsensical insistence on “magic words”. Just what was Trump saying about the president of the United States?
“It’s happening all over and it’s getting worse and it’s going to continue to get worse until they respect us”, Trump said of the threat of terrorism.
“Donald Trump is a person who is driving a auto recklessly through a very crowded street and he keeps bumping into people”, said Hag. This should be Trump’s strongest suit. The Clinton campaign has been touting Republican backers for some time now.

He also hit Clinton and Obama for not using the term “radical Islamic terrorism”. He said that though he’s still going to “run as a Republican”, he’s willing to do whatever it takes to fight for his policies regardless of whether anyone in Washington has his back.
