Kelly Osbourne Apologizes for Making an Offensive Comment About Latinos on

Kelly Osbourne has insisted she’s not a racist following an appearance on The View. Perez later apologized to Kelly and concluded that her disdain should only go to Donald Trump and not to Kelly.

Osbourne added her two cents, saying, “In what way does he think that people are going to vote for him after he’s just called them rapists and murderers?” I whole-heartedly f-ked up today. “I don’t want to bulls-t anyone with lame excuses”, she continued. But Osbourne’s retort illuminates her own-seemingly unself-conscious-racially distorted views. Even former View co-host Sherri Shepherd cut Osbourne “a little slack, bc I’ve done it myself… sometimes isht comes out of your mouth live that you didn’t mean to say”.

Kelly, who is the daughter of legendary Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne, insulted thousands of Latin Americans during a discussion about Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump and immigration. But Kelly was quickly branded a racist by viewers herself when she questioned who would clean the billionaire’s toilets if he kicked every Latino out of America.

She’s since apologised, but Twitter isn’t happy – not least because she hit out at her fellow Fashion Police host Giuliana Rancic earlier this year over a comment the presenter made towards Zendaya Coleman.

Still, Kelly’s “apology” isn’t the most depressing part about this incident. Well, you definitely are now, Ms. Osbourne.

It’s a strong statement that truly shows how passionately Kelly feels about what happened on The View.

Perez also chimed in on Twitter, saying she believes Osbourne’s heart is “so pure & righteous”.

“No, Kelly Osbourne is on our side and I was sensitive”, Perez reiterated. “We want you to help us take care of our children as well”.

It’s clear that Osbourne wanted to emphasize the importance of the Latino immigrant population, but her comment stresses a wrong-headed conception of their value. “I adore you”, she wrote.
