Clinton and Trump draw battle lines with hard-hitting speeches
Scowcroft directly rebutted Trump’s claim that Clinton does not have the temperament to lead, citing her experience working on high-pressure issues such as Iran and Israel. Another 20 percent said they wouldn’t support either candidate.

The speech comes after increased concern from the Republican party days after Trump fired campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, and a new finance report showed that the Trump campaign had only about $1.3 million dollars at the start of June. Contrast this to Hillary Clinton with nearly 900 staffers.
In her speech on Wednesday, Mrs Clinton said, “I think it’s an understatement to say Americans face a choice in November”.
Trump also said that Clinton has ‘perfected the politics of personal profit and theft’.
Brent Scowcroft, who served as national security adviser to two Republican presidents, said Wednesday he’s backing Democrat Hillary Clinton for president.
“He’s going after me personally because he has no answers on the substance”, said Clinton.
Trump last week demanded that the foundation return the $25 million it reportedly received from Saudi Arabia, asserting in a Facebook post that the Middle East nation “and numerous countries that gave vasts amounts of money to the Clinton Foundation want women as slaves and to kill gays”.
Unruh is running a group called Free the Delegates aimed at getting a majority of the 112-member rules committee to support her proposal.
US markets opened sharply lower on news of the British vote.
Sounding very much like her former secretary of state self, Clinton then spoke of the storied alliance between the United States and the United Kingdom, the “special relationship” that has made Britain America’s strongest ally.
As expected, like a heavyweight in the first round of long fight Trump responded with his own stiff verbal jabs, “She gets rich by making you poor”.

The presumptive Democratic nominee was campaigning in North Carolina hours after Trump’s scathing critique of her foreign policy record and her qualifications to be president.
