A Chicago man is sticking with his lucky numbers.
A man who happens to be named Larry Gambles, recently won the $1.3 million Lucky Day Lotto in IL. Gambles won the $1,050,000 Lucky Day Lotto prize with the numbers 01-06-12-14-25 when his ticket matched the numbers of the June 7 drawing.
After the retired school administrator confirmed his second win, he told his family the good news.
“Nine years ago, I won $50,000 playing the numbers from the jerseys of my high school basketball team”, Gambles said.
That’s a suburban Chicago man’s philosophy for picking numbers to play the lottery. The gas station will get $10,500 for selling the winning ticket.
When asked by the Lottery commission if he had any advice for other lottery players he said, “Pick your favorite numbers and stick with them”.
Neither can all the regular lottery players who never hit a jackpot, Larry.
The winning ticket was purchased at Harvey’s Corner BP, 18300 South Cicero Avenue, in Country Club Hills.
He plans to share his newly minted million with friends and family.
There were two winners of the Match 5 + Bonus prize in the main Lotto draw, each claiming the €113,661 prize.
