Corey Lewandowski Goes From Trump’s Right-Hand Man To CNN Commentator

Lewandowski was sacked from the Trump campaign on Monday, for reasons that are not totally clear, but he had quickly secured a position with CNN on Thursday.
Corey Lewandowski, Donald Trump’s ousted campaign manager, is off to a rocky start in his new position as a political commentator for CNN.
“Jeffrey Lord, a former Reagan political director prone to ridiculous invocations of history to defend Trump, and Kayleigh McEnany, whose defenses of the candidate tend to be more conventional, though no more convincing”.
To add fuel to the fire, Lewandowski was hit the same day he officially joined CNN over the fact that he is apparently under a strict and binding nondisclosure agreement as an ex-Trump employee.
Queen of corporate media Megyn Kelly had some harsh words for CNN after the network hired on infamous reporter-abusing Corey Lewandowski.
This is a bit ironic considering that Lewandowski has both physically and verbally assaulted CNN reporters.
“As Gray went into the crowd to film reaction to the sign, which had already been taken down, Lewandowski confronted him directly: ‘Inside the pen, or I will pull your credentials”.
As Michael Calderone at Huffington Post pointed out, the network’s hiring of Lewandowski “shows little regard for treatment of the press”.
It will be interesting to see what Lewandowski brings to the table at CNN as it has become increasing hard for Trump proponents in the media to spin his views and defend his rhetoric.
“You have to raise an issue”, he said.
The free market treats you nicely when you’ve worked as Donald Trump’s campaign manager. He seems to have a particular problem with women; in addition to the Fields incident, he was spotted having a screaming match with Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks in the middle of 61st Street in NY just last month.
Lewandowski brings a unique perspective to CNN’s panel of pundits, having firsthand experience in running a presidential campaign.
CNN has been one of the media targeted most vocally by Trump.

In his first on-air interview, also on Thursday, host Erin Burnett grilled Lewandowski on whether he had signed an agreement barring him from making disparaging comments about Trump, his family or his companies.
