He is only 215 pounds, and doesn’t really have an inside game so this pick is based exclusively on potential. He should be a good role player for Milwaukee. The Celtics drafted six players on Thursday, so draft-and-stash is definitely an option with the limited space on the roster.

Denzel Valentine is a do it all type player. The knocks against Valentine is his lack of defense and athleticism. Sure. The feeling here is that would have been a better pick.
Durant? The OKC Thunder draft-night trade was the move of the night.
So, when you just examine the selection of Brown for what it is, it’s a fine choice. Brown is a great athlete who scores most of his points at the rim.
Think about it – 41, 41 and a triple-double in Game 7, which included his flying blocked shot that will forever be part of the NBA’s publicity package. Nothing materialized. Yet, Brown has the most superstar potential of anyone in this class not named Ben Simmons or Brandon Ingram. But give him a chance. I honestly have no clue what the Kings are doing. The Thunder unload Serge Ibaka whose contract is up at the end of next season.

A couple of the draft’s best shooters went next, with New Orleans grabbing All-American Buddy Hield from Oklahoma, and Denver picking Kentucky freshman Jamal Murray at No. 7.
Players who changed clubs included Thad Young, George Hill, Jeff Teague and Derrick Rose. He has drawn comparisons to Wesley Matthews.
Grizzlies – The Grizzlies came out of this draft big winners. He isn’t the shooter that Conley is, but is still a great player on both sides of the ball and should make Memphis fans forget about Conley. Chriss is a bouncy, athletic stretch-four who likes to shoot and rebound. He also has a mid range jumpshot that should help space the floor.
And it seems like what led to this bad business was overvaluing this pick.
