Longtime conservative columnist and commentator George Will announced Friday he’s leaving the Republican Party over Donald Trump.

With less than a month to go before the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Trump is facing a backlash from a group of delegates fighting to keep him from becoming the party’s nominee.

Other Trump supporters are pushing back even harder against talk of convention revolt.

“Make sure he loses”, Will was quoted as saying in an interview after delivering a speech at a Federalist Society luncheon Friday.

“This is not my party”, he said, according to PJ Media.

He said Republicans should refrain from supporting the real estate mogul.

“This campaign needs to grow rapidly. two, three, four hundred people in the next 90 days or less”, Lewandowski told the Fox News Channel. After all, what if a delegate finds out the presumptive nominee got his primary votes by lying and deceit and fraud?

“Sure, but I’m also concerned with the fact that I do not really believe Republicans think clearly enough about what they really want in judges”.

While his is the only name listed in court papers, the suit is filed on behalf of all delegates to both the GOP and Democratic Party conventions.

“We’re kind of watching and waiting”, said Bill Jaeck, a delegate from Racine County, who said he is still making his mind up about Trump, and doesn’t yet consider his nomination a “done deal”.

Former Michigan Republican Party chairman Saul Anuzis, a key adviser to Texas Sen.

And in one of his most recent columns with the paper, Will instructed earlier this week that in order for Republicans to “save” their party “don’t give to Trump”. The poll asked a series of questions about how respondents felt about the candidates, and Trump fared nine points worse on average among Republicans than Clinton did among Democrats.
