June is nearly over and the 15th annual BET Awards air tonight [Sunday, June 26] on BET Networks at 8 p.m. EST/7 p.m. CST.

The awards show, which will be broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, is expected to host some of the top A-listers from the industry as presenters.
At one point, Lamar and Beyoncé kicked the water and danced in sync, drawing a heavy applause from the audience. Or, you can stream all the red carpet arrivals online here starting at 5:30 p.m. EST. Drake leads the show’s nominees with nine nods. “Don’t worry. We Got You”. This time, Hudson was a vocal powerhouse, delivering screeching vocals while Wonder played piano and Kelly played the guitar – all while various photos of Prince appeared on the purple stage.
Previously, Madonna performed a tribute to Prince at the Billboard Music Awards and the performance was met with a lot of criticism. Particularly notable is Janelle Monáe, who, along with Stevie Wonder, The Roots, Sheila E., and D’Angelo, will be playing a sure-to-be-emotional tribute to the late singer Prince, who passed away in April of this year.
From glittering outfits to daring dresses, there’s no holding back when it comes to the red carpet event of the BET awards, which this year will hopefully be no different with Nandi Mngoma hosting it live.
Muhammad Ali could also be honored Sunday’s awards, though the network didn’t announce official plans to pay tribute to the icon, who died June 3 at age of 74 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. BET will be airing the red carpet via live stream HERE, as well as a glimpse backstage HERE. It was not clear if Drake would attend the BET Awards; his representative did not respond to an email asking if he would go to the show. There are rumors that Beyoncé will be attending, but no word on whether Drake will be there. Beyoncé and Rihanna, who is on tour in Europe, have five nominations each. Jamie Foxx, Taraji P Henson, Jussie Smollett, Deon Cole and Yara Shahidi, DJ Khaled, Gabrielle Union, Tinashe, Fantasia, Regina Hall, Jermaine Dupri, Snoop Dogg are some of the celebrities gracing the stage on Sunday night.
Other multiple nominees include Chris Brown and Future.

An early award victor of the night is seasoned Hollywood actor, Samuel L Jackson, who has been recognised with a “Lifetime Achievement Award”.
