You big tease! Fans may wince a little to hear the showrunner of “Fear the Walking Dead” openly admit, “We purposely built the show a bit more slowly than the original.” Oof.
The executive producer of “Fear the Walking Dead” revealed updates about the season 2 shooting schedule.
Explaining the rise in the number of episodes, executive producer Dave Erickson told IGN, “We structured the [first] season in a way that they’re still somewhat insulated from the greater truth of what’s going on”.
I don’t want to get too specific in terms of body count because I believe ultimately I would never set up and drop someone just for the goal of setting up and dropping them. And you can understand already, why the show has been greenlit for a 2nd season.
The spinoff will also dwell on the tension, anxiety and paranoia experienced by the family because of the zombie outbreak instead of focusing on confronting the zombies and fighting them off.
Erickson and his co-creator Robert Kirkman said Fear the Walking Dead will have a slower pace than the original Walking Dead Series but can stand on its own in terms of plot and story line.
“By the end of Season 1, we definitely know the world has changed”.
Although things may take a while to develop into all out chaos on Fear The Walking Dead, it is one that will be a worthwhile journey for viewers. Let us know your thoughts by commenting below.
