The Telegraph Break Another Twist In Lukaku To Arsenal Saga

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has agreed personal terms with Arsenal, journalist Emanuele Giulianelli has revealed.

Sky Sports caught up with Lukaku who deferred all questions about his club future to his agent, Mino Raiola.

The Gunners have become the latest club to be linked with a move, with Juventus and former club Chelsea also rumoured to have an interest in the 23-year-old. He has previously indicated that he wants to play for a club in the Champions League, but is now focusing only on the Euros and has left his agent to deal with his future.

Everton’s poor finish in the Premier League seems to have prompted Lukaku to seek a move back to Chelsea, as the Belgian striker goes in search for European action.

“Informal contact was made yesterday between Arsenal and Everton but in my opinion the deal won’t progress despite Lukaku wanting the move”.

“I don’t know what will be my future but I just can say that where I am I’m happy”.

The Belgian striker has been rumored to have agreed to personal terms with the Gunners, but instead says he’s just anxious about his nation’s next match in Euro 2016.

The Holloway, London residents are reportedly preparing a £60 million transfer fee for the Antwerp, Belgium native, which if pushed through is set to break the current Arsenal transfer record of £42.4 million they pulled off in September 2013 for German midfielder Mesut Özil.

The Algerian striker scored 31 goals in all competitions last season, with 27 of them coming in 33 league games.
