What it feels like to slide 1000 feet over Los Angeles
You don’t see many observation decks in Los Angeles. ABC was granted permission to try out the Skyslide before its official debut, and the slide lives up to its hype.

If you’re the kind of person who could never bring themselves to set foot on the CN Tower’s glass floor, you might want to steer clear of the U.S. Bank Tower in Los Angeles, California.
Some visitors got a preview earlier in the week. To put that into perspective, the observation deck resides at almost the same height as the Griffith Observatory. Starting on the 70th floor, riders hop onto a gray mat and inch forward to start the 45-foot descent down to the 69th floor.
But don’t let that stop you from traveling to LA and getting a good old fashioned adrenaline rush. “Guests of all ages will have the opportunity to transform their view of Los Angeles as they glide down, gazing at unparalleled views of the city”.

Oh! And did we mention it’s MADE OF GLASS! You know, in case you’re enjoying the view but you’re also in a hurry. Tickets start at $19 for general admission with a timed entry and available in 30-minute intervals except for VIP tickets that start at $30. The city will be hosting an all-day block party to kick off the opening of the Skyslide this Saturday.
