The Delhi government’s had appointed 21 AAP legislators as “parliamentary secretaries to ministers” previous year.

Sisodia later accused Modi of sabotaging the Delhi government’s bills including on regulating fees in private schools, increasing the wages of labourers and ending the no detention policy in schools.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alleged that the arrest of Mohaniya had exposed the “anti-women character” of AAP leaders.

Despite the fact that Mohaniya was pulled out of his administrative center by the Delhi police he said “Aap dekh sakte hain Police kaise gundagardi karke mujhe le jaa rahi hai”. However, the Centre’s constant interference in the working of the government and their attempt at creating obstacles along the way, shows the Prime Minister’s vindictive attitude towards his opponents, said the AAP statement. “What action has PM Modi’s Police taken against them, despite there being evidence?” asked the AAP.

Earlier in the day, Kejriwal continued his tirade against the BJP-led NDA regime and said Sisodia would surrender himself before the Prime Minister.

Raking up the issue of the murder of NDMC officer M.M. Khan, AAP spokesman Dilip Pandey demanded the arrest of Delhi MP Maheish Girri, Delhi Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung and NDMC Vice Chairman Karan Singh Tanwar in the case.

In support of Sisodia, Kejriwal also took to twitter and tweeted “Complaint filed against Manish Sisodia yesterday”.

He tweeted, ” Dinesh Mohaniya was caught from his press conference in front of all the media people.

Another case has been registered against Mohaniya at Govindpuri police station for allegedly slapping a 60-year-old man in Tughlaquabad area on June 25.
