Is Microsoft’s Killer Console A Result Of Nintendo And Sony’s Hubris?
In the case of both the more powerful Xbox One and the more powerful PlayStation 4, the respective makers promise that all future games will work on both the original Xbox One and the original PlayStation 4. “You are not alone in making the comment – and I think it is a legitimate comment – about only just getting going on the games side of things on PS4”. The fact still remains that Project Scorpio is most likely going to be having exclusive games going forward since the console is likely to be coming with some seriously upgraded hardware.

Microsoft Studios general manage Shannon Loftis said in an interview with Game Informer that there will be no frame rate difference between a game with the Xbox One and the new Xbox Scorpio, Forbes has learned. If things shake out the way Microsoft intends, Xbox One will become like a smartphone; the model you have now will probably handle the latest apps and games for at least a few years, but you’ll have a premium option if you want the best performance possible.
The briefing closed with the announcement that another new Xbox One would release late next year.
Extending the ever-growing list of Xbox One Backward Compatibility titles Microsoft has this week another eight new additions with support being added for seven arcade games and one Games On Demand in the form of Bethesda’s Fallout: New Vegas.
“When we first started thinking about doing Xbox we met with Nintendo and we sat down with Iwata and others and we said, ‘This is what we want to do”. It was created to be a gaming console for gamers, but the Xbox One initially included DRM protection for physical discs and forcing always-online.
According to PC Advisor, however, Sony has a flawless explanation on why it did not show its upcoming console at the popular game trade show.
There is no point in arguing which of the two are genuinely superior since they are kind of apples and oranges, but both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas complement each other perfectly.
The most noteworthy among the list of new entries is “Fallout: New Vegas”, which is also the only title to be released as part of the “Games on Demand” program this time around, according to Xbox Live director of programming Larry Hryb’s Major Nelson website. Otherwise, we’ll see you here next week for three more videos from Outside Xbox.
For decades, gaming consoles have offered a plug-and-play approach to gaming that’s usually cheaper and more accessible than utilising a PC to play games.

For now, it seems console cycles will never be the same again.
