Buffalo Police have released an incident report relating to an early Friday morning incident involving Sabres forward Evander Kane at a Chippewa Bar.

Buffalo’s WIVB-TV first reported the investigation.

Sources tell 2 On Your Side that Kane has not been charged and there are no reports of any arrests connected to the incident in question.

The women’s names were redacted in both reports.

Another report states that a second woman told police Kane grabbed her by the arms and tried forcing her out of the bar. Minutes before the 2016 NHL Draft started in Buffalo, the Sabres winger made headlines.

Police say they’re investigating and no charges have yet been filed.

“We reviewed the videos and talked to everyone on that and he steadfastly denies doing anything wrong and we have seen nothing to the contrary”, Paul J. Cambria, Kane’s lawyer, said in a statement Monday. “I’ve heard the stories”, Murray said.

Mayor Byron Brown declined comment at an event Saturday afternoon.

This is Kane’s second run-in with legal trouble in six months.

Kane was investigated for a possible sex offense in December but prosecutors determined there wasn’t evidence to support charges.
