Rising Baltimore Rapper Lor Scoota Shot And Killed In Broad Daylight
He was reportedly just a half-mile away from the arena where he had just hosted the charity basketball game when an as-yet-unidentified black male wearing a white bandana approached his auto and opened fire at around 6:56 p.m. He was of the 1900 block of Clifton Ave.

Not necessarily understood is who Lor Scoota may have associated with in the past and under what guise, that may have wanted the rising Baltimore rapper dead?
“We do not have an arrest, we do not have a suspect”, Baltimore Police Spokesman T.J. Smith said in a news conference Monday afternoon.
Scoota had just come from an event at the Morgan State University Hill Field House billed “Touch the People: Pray for Peace in These Streets”.
“We are making some progress but not as much progress as we would like [in finding a suspect]”, Smith said, asking the public to view Watson’s murder as a wake-up call to those seeking retribution, especially gang members. Police haven’t named a suspect or a possible motive but a rep notes the shooting after the event, in which rival rappers came together for the community, shows an “eerie irony that should just absolutely tick all of us off”, per CNN.
“One-on-one text communication”, Smith said.
Smith said people can also call the homicide unit at 410-396-2100, or call or text the department’s Metro Crime Stoppers line at 1-866-7LOCKUP. “But can we trend on Twitter that the person responsible for his death has been identified and is in custody?”
Baltimore native Asia Eddins told the AFRO, “I loved his music”.
Rapper Meek Mill, NBA player Will Barton and others offered online eulogies. LIFE….hold onto it, or you’ll lose it & everything in it in the blink of an eye.
Baltimore City Councilman Nick Mosby told reporters, “I am saddened to hear about the senseless murder of Tyrice “Lor Scoota” Watson”.

Former Baltimore Raven Torrey Smith tweeted “One that was focused in stopping the violence smh insane world man…prayers up”.
