Battlefield Hardline: Squad Heist
EA used Gamescom to detail Battlefield: Hardline’s new DLC pack.

Battlefield Hardline, powered by the Frostbite 3 engine, lets players trigger jaw-dropping Levolution events as they shoot out subterranean grow-labs, blow open bank vaults, or tear apart the streets of Los Angeles. Featuring new game maps and a new mode, Robbery is designed to let criminal teams plan and execute the ideal heist.
There’s emphasis on pulling off (or stopping) heists in this DLC. Included in the expansion are, of course, new maps, weapons and the even a new game mode. Battlefield Hardline is to get another piece of downloadable content which is being called the boldest, craziest heist to ever take place in the game.
Another new addition is “Squad Heist”, which should be familiar for those who play Squad Rush in previous Battlefield games.
“You might have to take the Glass Cutter (Drill) and steal the Blue Diamond (Loot) from the Display Case (Vault)-but the basic idea stays the same”, EA explained. It works on three stages: Drill the first vault, drill the second vault, and finally escape with the loot.
At every stage, criminals have 25 “tickets”, or lives. We hope you agree and join us on the Battlefield!

The expansion will be available for premium users in September 2015, and will be made available to all other users at a later date.
