Apple Watch 2 to feature built-in Global Positioning System and Swim Tracking features

Apple isn’t ready to share any iPhone 7 pictures just yet, but designers already took to the web to imagine what a “Space Black” iPhone 7 would look like. Apple Insider reports that the new color scheme will be much darker than the “space gray” option though there have been no images yet of the new color scheme.

Apple to offer more color options?

It is not the first black iPhone technically as there was a black option starting with the very first model in 2007 until the iPhone 4s.

Previous sketchy rumors stated that Apple will remove the clickable home button for a fixed component, which will detect taps and deep presses, as used on the Apple Watch.

Reports have surfaced that suggest Apple will unveil a new, Batman-style, Space Black iPhone. The “Space Grey” colour was introduced with the iPhone 5’s metallic back, and it’s certainly more grey than it is black.

The physical home button will also be altered, a move that should ramp up Touch ID and 3D touch rumors and also aiding in waterproofing concerns. There is also talk the Apple iPhone might not be carrying the same kind of numbering we’ve seen in the release pattern for quite some time. The last time we saw an entirely blacked out Apple handset was with the iPhone 5, and this type of paintjob sure has its devout fans who would love to rock the stealthy style again. In case Apple uses a non-moving button, it may also have to use a different pattern for resetting, probably using one of the volume buttons.

Rumors since a year ago have been pointing towards Apple creating three phones as part of its iPhone 7 lineup.

Apart from CPU, GPU and RAM upgrades to the platform, one can expect significant cosmetic changes as well, along with the rumored dual lens cameras and possibly a slightly larger screen in tow. It is also said to have a bigger rear camera, though that rumor still has not been confirmed.
