The agent for free agent forward Mirza Teletovic says his client has agreed to terms on a three-year, $30 million contract with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Teletovic played his first three National Basketball Association seasons with the Nets and averaged 8.6 points while under Kidd’s direction.
Bucks coach Jason Kidd recently said the team has to become a strong defensive squad again after it struggled to stop opponents last season.
Dellavedova would give the Bucks another ball handler and decent three-point shooter to complement Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has taken over the primary ball-handling role for Milwaukee. No contract can be officially signed until July 7th. The 30-year-old forward will provide Milwaukee with some much-needed floor spacing off the bench and provide an outside stroke that is hard to find on the team’s current roster.
Dellavedova and Michael Carter-Williams also figure to be decent defenders at the point guard position.
His 181 made three-pointers as a reserve set an National Basketball Association record, breaking the mark set by the Indiana Pacers’ Chuck Person during the 1994-’95 season.
Charles F. Gardner covers the Milwaukee Bucks and the National Basketball Association. He was the fifth overall pick in the 2003 draft and is a 12-time National Basketball Association all-star.
Mayo, 28, averaged 7.8 points in 41 games last season, including 24 starts. However, there are only a few violations that would lead to Mayo’s punishment.
The last player to receive the penalty was Chris “Birdman” Andersen in January 2006, when he was playing for the New Orleans Hornets.

Mayo was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves but his rights were dealt to Memphis in exchange for Kevin Love’s.
